Good Friday/Sunday night/Monday morning clubbing at Easter!

Well, it’s the first big clubbing bank holiday after the madness of Christmas so here we are with Easter, ah the double bank holidays, reminiscing about early closing times, nothing being open on a Sunday, limited buses and the usual rain all are memories of Easter. Quick question: Why do we give chocolate eggs to commemorate Jesus rising up?

Funny how memories come up isn’t it, this time of year always reminds me of the afters at a house party where we watched the religious films on tv back-to-back. Easter films haven’t changed since the 90’s! Thinking the best one is The Robe, classic camp, Richard Burton and Victor Mature, what’s not to love. Then came ‘The Ten Commandments’ which isn’t quite as good but isn’t that bad but hasn’t Charlton been cancelled these days?

Easter is a funny time non!!!

Anyway, looking through the recent archive for a change and I stumble across these beauties from Homoelectric at Legends in Easter 2012, the act of republishing them does raise the usual questions about usage, time passed, sharing of image and this one has some added ones with people who I better check don’t mind having their pictures appear in this blog!!!!!! Also, this pops up a lesser-known questions like:

‘Should you use images from the nights and crowds that didn’t like you?’

Hmm that’s an interesting revelation isn’t it ! Maybe another blog sometime?
